Mountain Biking Green's Creek
#65 of 1,381 mountain bike trails in Colorado
This is far and away the most relentlessly technical route off the Crest. The 7 miles of singletrack never gives you a break from rocks, roots, waterbars and is often very narrow and twisty. While it is shorter than some routes off the crest, it will not be the quickest or easiest for most people. Recommended for confident rockhounds only.

Greens Creek is an alternate route off the famed Monarch Crest. Start by following the Monarch Crest trail for 7 miles and look for the singletrack on the left just before a small shelter after the first descent from above treeline back into the trees. This is the start of the Greens Creek Trail. From here, it's 7 miles of singletrack to a dirt road. To get back to the start of the shuttle, go left at the dirt road, then right on the next road at the T about 3 miles later. That road will merge with highway 50 which will roll back to the start.
