Mountain Biking Hammond Hill

****   Add a review
#65 of 323 mountain bike trails in Michigan
#2,477 in the world

Park at the Hammond Hill Disc Golf Course on Hammond Hill Rd. The stacked loop system is about 5 miles long but it is 2-way traffic all the time so it is easy to ride 10 miles in an hour. The trail was mechanically built with great site lines so 2-way traffic isn't an issue. Lots of berms, doubles, table tops, etc. Fast and flowy. Soil is a mix of clay, gravel and a few sandy spots.

This is a two way trail that shouldn't be. A few blind corners where you pick up quite a bit of speed. Almost crashed into two different riders heading towards me.

Fun trail. Machine made with lots of fast descending and turns. Clay soil is firm with some gravel and Sandy sections.

Fun place for any skill level. Just depends how fast you ride it. I found it could be very fast with a few doubles and banked turns. Switch up your trails and directions and it's fun for hours.

Very fun trail! Hard to compete with ft custer but very fun downhill runs. I enjoyed the open field area with well marked markers. One porta potty and no changing area but a very fun trail

Enjoyable track. Flows very nicely with curves and berms plentiful. Thanks to all those who have contributed to this trail. With many switchbacks and two way trail system, there is plenty of variety.

Smooth, Fast, Flowing trail. Lots of high banked turns, this place rides like a roller coaster. Well marked, there are maps at every split in the trail. Not a long trail but you can go either direction and there are lots of different little trails that are all interconnected. Nothing really technical here, hence the beginner friendly rating. Nothing else quite like it in west Michigan. Fast and Fun!

Great beginner trail, flows very well and at times is fast. Great alternative to Yankee Springs Trail. If your crunched on time but still want to ride this is a good trail for that. Its my go to trail now.
