Mountain Biking Hi Tor Orange Loop
#186 of 301 mountain bike trails in New York
Park, head up Parish hill rd until you can get to a fire road climb for about 2 miles until you get to actual dirt road again. Turn right on dirt road and continue straight until road runs out and woods start. Continue on orange blazed path through singletrack ups and downs for a few miles. Then once "out of the woods again" there will be another fire road climb (very steep) for 1.5 to 2 miles or so. Follow orange trail to a solid 2 mile decent back down to rte 245 and take road back to your parking area.

Take Rte 245 to Parish Hill Rd Parking Lot at bridge or up Parish Hill Rd a couple of hundred feet
Trying to recreate some great riding that happened on these trails many years ago ... unfortunately, growth, vegetation and downed trees have made any trail flow extremely difficult ... but the potential is there ... always a matter of trail resources ... still a good time.
Thank |Traction was good; though the trail is overgrown 3' to 5' ... fortunately grass laid-down where vehicle had gone through. Nice climb, just needs a touch of maintenance to get back on par.
