Mountain Biking Horse Trails And Logging Roads Near Strawberry Lake
#125 of 265 mountain bike trails in Montana
The trail starts off on the right side of the road, and climbs steeply uphill
and loops around, crossing back over the road. When you reach the other
side of the road the trail joins a large nexus of unmarked
horse/atv/snowmobile/dirt bike trails that interconnect with abandoned
logging roads. You can literally ride for hours and hours... just make sure
you have a good sense of direction. It is possible to connect from here to
the Strawberry Lake trail, and the ridge.

From Bigfork, drive north on 35. Take a right at 83 at the gas station (first
stop light outside of town). Take a left onto Foothills road? at the Echo lake
cafe/school/gas station corner. Follow foothills road, pass the turn for the
Jewel Basin Hiking area, continue on and take a right onto the gravel road
towards Strawberry Lake Trail. Look for the first parking area on the right.
