Mountain Biking Howarth Park / Spring Lake
#291 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
City and county park, it's the gateway to Annadel State Park. Good, short climbs for an after work work-out. Combinations fire trails and singletrack. Organized races every Wednesday evening in the summer.

From San Francisco, 101 north to Hwy 12 East exit; head east, cross Farmers Lane, continue to end of street (2miles) to Summerfield Rd. Left on Summerfield. Park entrance is 1/4 mile.
Fun and challenging! Make sure you map out where you want to ride though because it is a big park. There are also a lot of pedestrians, so watch out for those!
Thank |Spring Lake/ Howarth is the perfect place for beginner riders, with trails mostly at a low level almost anyone can ride here.
Thank |A great beginner to intermediate collection of trails and paths. I will hit a couple of these trails on my way to Annadel.
Thank |Santa Rosa's only real mountain bike area, unfortunately. But at least it is the opening to Annadel State Park.
Thank |Bring your fishing pole to take full advantage of the day!
