Mountain Biking Hudson Springs Park
#78 of 116 mountain bike trails in Ohio
There is a loop gravel loop that goes around the lake in the park and along the loop there are several singletracks that shoot off and eventually reconnect with the gravel path. Nothing is to crazy here but it is a good after work ride. If you head off on a counterclockwise direction around the loop you will go over a small stream witha bridge after you pass the boat storage area. Just when the path starts to get into the wood s there is a singletrack ahead. It can get muddy but it has some nice little logs to go over and some stream crossings. We used to spend hours riding that as kids, trying to go faster each time. It is only about a mile long but a good little time. This is just one of many small little but fun trails throughout the park.

If you are heading out from downtown Hudson take Stow Rd away from Stow Rd. away form Stow. It will be on your right hand side before you get to the Hudson High School
It is a great walking and biking trail. Definitely not for those looking to test out their mountain bikes. The paved trail loops around Hudson Springs Lake for 2 miles and ends at a nice community center with playground and cookout areas. Definitely a great walking trail.
Thank |I used to ride this trail in high school (1998-2002) daily and loved it. I recently went back a few weeks ago after about a eight year lapse and it is c*** now. Log crossings that used to be perpendicular to the path (allowing for crossing streams) are now parallel, almost as if done intentionally. Other bridges are completely gone. Fallen trees make some parts impassable (have to walk your bike around) and the list goes on. Ten years ago I would've given this short trail 5 stars, now...it needs alot of attention.
