Mountain Biking Hume Lake Camp
#801 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
Breathtaking views you will not get anywhere else. But be very careful. This trail is still undiscovered by park rangers, so the road isn't maintained. Erosion has occured so the trail is very very narrow at some times. And your riding along the side of a cliff. So it is a looooooong drop. (Be sure to loogie off the side :D) It isn't a trail to be proud of riding, but I discovered it and the views are excellent. Should I name it after me? Hmmmm......

YOU CANNOT GET TO THIS TRAIL BY CAR OR TRUCK. This trail isn't known. You have to be willing to look for it. As you start out at the Snack shop at Hume Lake Christian Camp, ride your BIKE towards the picnic tables within the trees. You will see the beginning of a little foot trail. Follow that trail. There will be some bends and turns, but stay on the trail. Don't worry, they all lead to the dam. Once you cross the bridge behind the dam and go past the windy roads, go to the left and you will see an opening. Take that back. When you come to a split in the road, take the left side. Then follow it to the end.
