Wide open trail with multiple entrance points throughout Hood River. The trail follows along the water drainage and the lower section hits Hazel road near down town and then winds up to around 12th and Pacific. You must cross the road at this point where the trail opens on the south side and is more grassy/muddy. You eventually hit a sign where the trail stops due to private property. There is a Upper portion of the trail but they do not connect but are labeled as the same trail.
This trail is excellent for quick MTB, walking, hiking and trail running when you do not have much time.
Not technical at all and way to short for a good ride but if thats all you can get it is one to consider.
Great little urban trail, wide enough to easily pass oncoming riders or ride two abreast. Mostly crushed gravel, with very few challenging turns or climbs. Great place to gain confidence, spin the legs, or get away from traffic.
