Mountain Biking Indian Creek (Trail #1300)

****   Add a review
#863 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
#9,650 in the world

The trail starts at Bear Lake Campground and generally runs north for about 14 miles up over Raspberry Mountain and on to Indian Creek and CR421. It is a multi-use two-track trail. It passes through beautiful mixed conifer forests and can be quite rocky and rutted. A 4.3 mile portion of the trail can be used to link up Dodgeton Creek Trail and Baker Creek Trail to form a nice 13.5 mile backcountry loop.

The portion between Dodgeton Creek Trail and Baker Creek trail is all double-wide and relatively smooth. If riding north to south the uphill grades are mostly gradual and the downhills pretty fast. Currently, there are lots of trees down on both sides of the summit.
