The Indian Summer trail is an optional singletrack loop connected to the Blue Sky trail. It heads up the hogback to the west and winds around before returning to Blue Sky. The elevation gain is about 350 feet. The elevation change is gradual when going North to South (counterclockwise), but is more sudden in the other direction. The track is generally packed dirt with small embedded rocks. The are only a couple of technical sections which makes this an intermediate trail.

Quick fun add on to blue sky. The dirt pack is great and def go clockwise way better downhill but go early it's sunny and busy!

Quick and fun trail with excellent views as you climb to the top. Totally exposed so hit this one early in the day or late in the evening on hot days.

This is a good addition to Blue sky if you want to add a couple of miles that are relatively more technical and involve more climbing than the rest of Blue Sky. Adding this loop makes Blue Sky much more worth while in my mind. it is very exposed which means sun and nice views of FoCo.

I had read this was a fun little addition to Blue Sky. I didn't enjoy it. It puts you out in the open which is hot and seems like almost constant climbing. It is rocky and has several switchback sections. The tail end is a series of winding downhill switchbacks.

This is a relatively easy singletrack adding mileage to a ride on the Blue Sky trail.
