Mountain Biking Ingram Prendwick Road To The Hill Fort And Back Via The Duck
#78 of 98 mountain bike trails in England
This route is typical of Cheviot riding, long steady climbs on good tracks, unless it's been raining!
Wide vistas, few interfering other users, the tops are a bit boggy. If you want some excitment then stop off at one of the hill forts where you can use the tumbledown walls for small jump practice.

Starting from my house! but can start from the Northumberland national parks centre at Ingram this loop goes steadily up Prendwick hill, turns right at the (first) hill fort, then right again at the gate/field corner, following the fence line down to the Duck pond. Then continue North until you meet the bridleway, then down to Ingram Farm and back home..for tea!
