Starting from a bridge leaving the Perimeter trail, the Rock and Roll trail makes a sharp right and a counterclockwise hairpin turn into a run towards a large wooden feature and gap jump (there is an optional line to the right around the feature). The trail then becomes a series of 3-6 ft. "roller" hills interspersed with slate and rocks. After a counterclockwise hairpin turn at the park's most NE point, the trail traverses a few more rollers and then enters a meander through the woods. Riders eventually cross a rocky path across a drainage and then follow the shore of a pond to the right, and eventually return to the beginning where they can take a left into another go at the Rock and Roll Loop or head straight (south) to continue on Perimeter Loop.
Great trail that will get the blood flowing with multiple rollers and large rocks that will try to mess with your roll.
Thank |This trail rocks! Literally! And rolls... also literally. Challenging, but once you get the hang of it, this trail shouldn't be passed up! Rock Pump Garden? Pump Rock? Come figure it out for yourself!
Thank |This trail is one part pump track, one part rock garden, and one part smile generator.
