Mountain Biking Jedi Slickrock
#388 of 710 mountain bike trails in Utah
This is a companion ride or mirror image to the more well known Bartlett Wash across the valley. Like Bartlett, it is a massive sandstone mound with ledges galore and no designated route. It is a free-form playground where each rider creates a unique ride. It is possible to cover most of the distance of the rock at an intermediate level, but it is easy to find, either on purpose or by accident, plenty of advanced riding as well.

Parking for this ride is the same as for Bartlett Wash. From I-70 head south on 191 towards Moab. Turn right on Blue Hills Road it is a little after the airport. Follow the road for 2.4 miles and take a left and stay on this road (ignore the forks to the right). After about 1.3 miles hang a right and follow this for a mile. Park in the pullout on the right just before the gate. To get to the trail, go through the gate and follow the sandy wash taking the left fork and looking for the entrance to Jedi about a hundred meters in.
