Mountain Biking Jeff's Whoop Whoops

#49 of 65 mountain bike trails in Alaska
#18,183 in the world

Jeff's Whoop Whoop - Now the longest trail in the new trail network, this Intermediate Blue level flow trail will leave you hooting and hollering. This top-to-bottom one way downhill is filled with flowy berms, fast rollers, and a variety of jumps. Designed to be progressive, this trail can be rolled by beginners, challenge the intermediate rider, and entertain experts with playful and creative line choices. Link together tables, hips, step ups, and rollers to boost your riding to the next level! This trail was named in memory of Jeff Scott, avid mountain biker and president of the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage. Jeff bridged a relationship between the ski community and the biking community. He helped both groups understand how a world class system of ski trails and mountain biking trails could co-exist. Through his work with NC Machinery, Jeff donated the use of equipment on several STA projects. Were it not for Jeff's generosity, positive thinking, and grace for bringing people together, we might not have the singletrack trails that we have today. He loved to yell out "Whoop Whoop!" while biking the trails.
