Mountain Biking Jim Terrell Park

****   Add a review
#50 of 116 mountain bike trails in Ohio
#3,687 in the world

Short 2 mile double loop made for beginners and children. Mostly flat with a couple rollers and a few mild root spots. It's usually the first trail to dy out in the Cincinnati area. Its fun and pretty with lots of wildflowers in the spring and a good view of the Little Miami River through most of the ride.

Could be a fun hour after work, but it's not very well kept. The brush was overgrown and our legs were all itchy and scratched up. There was a spot with old garbage and beer cans scattered. Has a fun BMX feel with a figure 8 style in and out. I'm not feeling the urge to return any time soon.

Beginner level trail only blocks from downtown Milford. Two loops, each 3/4 mile, with very little elevation change (there is one 6 foot hill on each loop plus the drop in to the trail). A few small obstacles and short rock garden on the river loop, the upper loop is mostly weaving through trees and a few small roots. Great place to introduce someone to mountain biking or get in a quick speed workout if you are a moderate rider. Always well kept and it is the first to dry out in the Cincinnati area.

Awesome Trail was able to chat with someone else riding to get an overall layout of the trail. Appears to be a figure 8 setup with the large concrete block in the center. Only one way in and out making it very easy to navigate.

Some exposed roots and narrow sections throughout. A lot of access to the little Miami shore including a small picnic table in one spot.

Elevation is very minimal, excellent beginner trail. Parking is directly at the trailhead.

Fun place to ride, short trail with some roots and sandy sections along the river, good place to take a newbie. This is the first trail to dry out after it rains so it gives you a place to ride when everything else is closed. Trail is well cared for by the steward, thanks!
