Mountain Biking Julington-Durbin Preserve

**   Add a review
#213 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
#7,712 in the world

Double track carved through the woods. Used by hikers with dogs typically, but decent place to enjoy the scenery and get a cross-country type MTB workout. Seems to be mostly gradual up-hill terrain with sandy areas. No dips & jumps...

Some hard pack with pine straw overlay double track.
Sandy areas on south side of trails.
Open to horses - be mindful and watch for them.
No bike wash - no facilities.
Only incline is on short .3 mile spur to the power lines on south side.

the only reason to use this trail is if you just need to get out in the fresh air. Very flat, with sandy sections and lots of sand burrs but lots of birds.

This trail could hardly be called a trail. Its 8 plus miles worth of really sandy double track with no shade. Ride anywhere but here!!!

Good work-out and training location for MTB endurance / cross country races after work.
