Juniper Ridge Trail passes through several types of vegetation including pinon-juniper, pine-oak, and manzanita scrub. There are several good views of the surrounding areas, the best of which is from Juniper Ridge Lookout.
The tower is used during the peak fire season, and visitors are welcome.
Please be aware, the lookouts reserve the right to refuse visitors if they are unusually busy. source: fs.usda.gov
