The Kanata Lakes trails are located 25 km southwest of downtown Ottawa. Take Highway 417 west to March Road (Exit 128) in Kanata, then head northwest on March Rd to Terry Fox. Go south on Terry Fox and continue on Goulbourn Forced Road to the parking lot just past the Trans Canada Trail.
Yeah so Kanata lakes, again if you love mosquitoes it's a dope trail system. There are definitely some technical spots for sure and if you want to try to climb the technical spots this is the trail for you. If you are a beginning rider this might be a slow mosquito filled trail, if you can climb quick and do quick small rockey descents this might be the trail for you. Overall, worth hitting for sure if you live in Ottawa and want an afternoon trail.
