Mountain Biking Kaplan's Woods Park
#32 of 138 mountain bike trails in Minnesota
Take the wide pathway into woods. You'll find a signed single track trail at first intersection and another loop just past creak bridge. The first loop is pretty simple. but has a few small log overs and some climbing. The new loop (as of June 15) is very new and still needs signs and some finishing touches. There's a 4 way intersection, think CW or CCW and you can't go wrong. It has lots of quick climbs, and log piles etc. They only have about 75 ft between hi and low elevation in the park nothing long but it's a good workout. The third loop starts at the far end of the middle loop, and is hardest of the lot. Very nice little park. check Owatona trails association on face book for updates.

Nicely packed trail with growing obstacles
Thank |Great little park that is pretty well maintained with a handful of small obstacles. There is some very well constructed bridges but nothing too serious or terribly exciting. It is a nice little area restricted by the natural terrain. The people that build and maintain the trails do a nice job with what they have to work with.
Thank |First time at Kaplan's and had a blast. Plenty of single track trails to get lost in. Well kept trails free of a lot of debris and downed trees from summer storms. I really like the creative paths and the flow of the trails. Nothing super difficult but got a great workout riding my bike. Super fun!
Thank |Very interesting trail. It's like a roller coaster. Just keep momentum and watch for tight spots and blind corners. There was added fresh "downhill" portion not so long ago. In general fun trail and worth stopping by if you're in the area
Thank |Still very new and a work in progress. I got a gr8 work out, an a bunch of short 30ish foot elevation changes. plenty of fun little logs overs and twits. Pretty tight single track. still needs some packing in, etc. Musquitos were bad!
