Mountain Biking Kohls Trail

****   Add a review
#124 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida

This is a very short trail that runs parallel to Blair Stone Rd. In and of itself, it's nothing special, but can be a nice addition to a ride at nearby Tom Brown Park and / or Fern Trail.

Fun little trail. Watch out for the urban campers.

Short n sweet, but can get some good speed and it's well maintained. Something unique about the trailhead, since you start in a Kohls parking lot, but that just adds to it and feels like a secret passageway. Immediately starts off with a good little steep section, but mellows out a bit after that. Mostly all downhill from Kohls, which makes the ride back a little bit of a climb, but it's Florida so it's really not that bad. A couple small jumps were made recently and are fun. You can connect to the Fern trails then to the Cadillacs then to Bills trail and back for a real good 10mile-ish ride. I wouldn't travel far for just this trail, but if you're in the area or plan on hitting the fern trails anyway, it's a fun starting point. Or if you don't have much time and your girl wants to shop at Kohl's..lol

Short, but fun, fast and somewhat technical trail to start out your day riding in Tallahassee. It starts from behind Kohls, where there's ample parking, then leads you to Fern trail and Tom Brown and the Cadillac trails which can give you several hours of good riding. It's shaded and pretty well maintained and you can get a lot of speed off the drop right as you enter. It's definitely worth the stop if you're riding in Tallahassee.

This is a short, but very fun trail! Lots of steep terrain with the occasional log over or bridge. Connected easily to Fern and the other trails in the area.
