#68 of 99 mountain bike trails in Maryland

this is recommended for beginners, road or mountain. Very flat (paved) but the park is beatutiful. Path extends south to Savage Mills.

This is a paved loop around the lake and through the park. Not a bad place, the park is nice and so is the ride, but certainly not mountain biking.

This is a paved trail that is a part of the Columbia trail system. After work and weekends here can be pretty crowded. Save this for leisurely cruises with anyone that just wants a tame ride to see the sites. This isn't mountain biking, but it's better than no biking...

Paved trail with little rool to the land... Overall all it is very pretty, but not real fun... I guess it good for riding wheelie's and night riding for exercise.

This is paved, If you want some offroading, you should go on the patuxent branch trail.

I rode this paved path around the lake with my 4 year old. There a lot of walkers, bikers and folks walking their dog. Not a area to go fast unless you go to under Broken Land Parkway to the west. Good scenery.
