The doubletrack trails are intended for CX skiing but are maintained in the summer making for a decent ride through the woods that leads right to some beautiful views of Lake Erie. Loops with beginner difficulty designation offer just over 7 miles of easy rolling, relatively flat trails.

The trails are located inside of Lake Erie Metropark and can be accessed from the paved bike path leading in to the park from Gibraltar road or from the parking lots near the park office and the museum.
Same as the previous review, it is a flat paved trail with nice views of Lake Erie. You can see Lake Freighters going by. A good ride when singletracks in the area are closed due to conditions but you want to get out and ride sans traffic. Note: there is an entry fee to get it the park.
| ThankFew miles of paved bike path intertwined with doubletrack XC trails along Lake Erie on the Property of Lake Erie Metropark. The double track is cut and maintained in the spring/summer months and are groomed for XC skiing and fatbiking in the winter. The area is relatively flat with no elevation change and the varied trails offer great views of the along the Lake Erie coastline. Not a bad place for a family bike ride or just to get out in the woods on some trails.
