Mountain Biking Lake LaShane Trail
#84 of 98 mountain bike trails in Iowa
This is the first official trail of this town. At the moment it is a green rated trail, in the opinions of the creators, with some blue features. The trail is on private property, owned by the water treatment plant, so please refrain from doing anything they may deem "dangerous" and or "irresponsible" because it could lead to the trail being shut down. Also this is a ride at your own risk, like most bike parks, once you enter you are riding with the potential of being hurt. But these are just preliminary warnings we encourage you to ride and have as much fun as you'd like. Also try not to ride while the trail is muddy as it may cause unwanted erosion. But enjoy the trail and stay safe.

When exiting I-35, take a left and keep on the main drag taking you through town. Continue on this road past the Rose Hill cemetery. And about 500 ft -1000 ft past the Liberty Hall there will be a junction, take a right at the junction. Head down that road for about 1 mile, then there should be a gravel road at the crest of the hill on the left. Take that left side gravel road. The Lake should be coming into view about 100 yd down the road. Right before the bridge there is a small track and a parking space at the end. The trail head is in between two posts up to the right.
