Mountain Biking Lake Murray
#499 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
Greenbelt style paved doubletrack with just a couple dirt splits along the route. Nothing special, but might be a fun ride with younger children.

From 125 - Exit Navajo, head west. Left on Golfcrest, follow W (SW) (becomes Murray Park Drive). Proceed through residential until the obvious left to the soft/baseball fields. Park and access the trailhead.
From 8 - Exit Jackson. North to Golfcrest, Take a left (W) and proceed as above.
not a MTB trail per se. this is a paved recreation trail around Lake Murray that has some unofficial singletrack segments along it. This is where you take kids, or people who are very nervous about the idea of mountain biking to get a very small taste of riding on dirt. I'd call it a pre-beginner trail. which is great for what it is.
Thank |Also good for if you're looking for a group/family picnic area and want to sneak off for 20 minutes to get some dirt in.
All asphalt paved route around the lake. Does not go all the way around, so plan trip accordingly. Posted 10mph speed limit signs all over and lots of hikers. Mostly flat with only a couple moderate climbs. A great trail to take the family on for a cruise around the lake. You can easily ride a road bike on it as well.
Thank |Nice easy ride around the lake. It's not a very long ride so it's something that can be done more than once. There are a few areas where you may need to watch out for errant golf balls but there are a lot of trees to stop the balls before they reach the trail.
