Mountain Biking Lake Pithlachocco

  Add a review
#275 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
#27,410 in the world

The terrain is mostly flat with a few sandy patches. The trail is a mixture of shady hardwoods along the edges of creeks and swamps, and a more open recently thinned mature pine plantation. The trail leads to Newnans Lake and back. The best route is to take the left fork after crossing the bridge, traveling in a clockwise direction. This gets the hotter open areas out of the way first, leaving the shadier parts for the return trip.
