A serene forest scene featuring tall trees with green leaves and a dirt path winding through the undergrowth. Large moss-covered rocks are scattered along the path, and fallen leaves cover the ground, indicating the transition of seasons. A small body of water is visible in the background, surrounded by dense vegetation. LBJ Singletrack mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking LBJ Singletrack

#108 of 279 mountain bike trails in Texas
#4,062 in the world

This is a small (.67 mile) trail that parallels the Salado Creek Greenway paved section. There's not much climbing as there is only 13.1 ft of gain, but this jewel of a track offers some great technical sections and flow.

There's not much to this little trail but it's worth not missing it.

This Tiny trail is pretty but, I can't rate it higher than a 3 because it has zero technicality, barely any elevation changes, climbs, swoops or other fun features. It runs along a stream and a couple of tiny pools of water that are too small to call ponds.

I loved this trail. Its always been a nice quick off shoot from the paved greenway trails. However, as of December 23rd I can say the trail isn't in great shape. I large tree was knocked down after a recent flood that now lays right across the trail at waist height. Can't ride over, can't climb under very easily. I also noticed a few new boulders that must have fallen obstructing a spot or two. It's still ridable but unfortunately not much flow with the new issues.

Great little jewel off of Lady Bird Johnson Park parallel to the Salado Greenway.
