Buffalo soldier, along with Andy's, Action Jackson, Colters Escape are all some of the best XC trails in the country, Yes... I said country.

The views of the Tetons from the top of these trail intersections are so f'ing gorgeous that nothing else compares. BUT, they do get even better if you decide to ride up 38 special.

I recommend taking Buffalo/Andy's or AJ up, then doing 38 special and coming down Peaked for a nice 12 mile loop.

This is another of the fine collection of cross-country trails at the base of the Grand Targhee ski resort. I rode it to connect to the Mill Creek Trail.

This is a great chunk of single track that loops around the top of the ridge. It's not super long, but the views are pretty fantastic!

Trail is a great ride to a great view. Continue on the trail for even more epic views to the connector trail of lightning loop on awesome downhill to mill creek. Works as an out n back if you just want to enjoy the resort.
