There are two different entrances/exits from the trail. If you started from 4 Corners of Penfield, there is an exit that leaves you in East Rochester. Starting from the 4CoP, the trail leads down to a medium/large size hill that has a couple narrow winds down it. Be ready for this as I've seen a few people come blasting through like idiots and end up laying it down over the edge. From there you can turn right or left. Right will take you to the other exit. Left will take you to the main trail. A few technical parts and narrow spots with drop offs into the river. If you're not confident with your abilities I would be extra careful, a little too much front brake and you're over the edge and into the water. Owie. A lot of very nice bridges and whatnot, but many of which have steep step ups that you'd end up smashing a few teeth on your chain ring trying to overcome. Just watch out for those. You will see hikers and dog walkers, so just be careful during the narrow parts.
