Mountain Biking Little Beaver State Park - Railroad Grade Trail
#58 of 112 mountain bike trails in West Virginia
This trail is a loop that is fairly flat, but moderately technical because of the rock, roots and seasonal stream beds it crosses. Many riders use the trail as a launching point for other trails within Little Beaver State Park. It is a very beautiful trail that will leave you beat up and exhausted. (not because of climbs - its flat) This trail does not have easy stretches to give you a rest - it is a rock bed from beginning to end.

From I64 near Beckley, take the Grandview Exit 129, go south on Grandview Rd., turn left into Little Beaver State Park, go to the second parking lot, go up the gravel road at the back of the parking lot and take the trail up the hill. (decent short climb) Once up the hill turn left on the gravel road, turn right at the second "Railroad Grade Trail" entrance.
