Excellent trail with something for everyone. Modest rock gardens that don't scare the bejeezus out of you. Great drops, moderate climbs, awesome views!

Lock 4 old hickory classic race

Awesome trail system. I just rode this for my first time today and had a ton of fun. There are three different "loops" that all intersect at some point. I am fairly new to riding and I planned on doing the green loop. I ended up on the orange intermediate loop because the trails are a bit confusing and I didn't see too many markings once you left the trailhead.

I found this trail to have many challenging sections for a rider of my skill level, but still manageable and fun and there were several trails that branched off that were black trails. Great trails and I am going to start riding here quite often.

Great trail! Little something for everyone. Great flow, some techy sections, well marked. The only bummer were some of the sections were really muddy. Im sure the local crew is working to fix those areas with ground ladders and/or pavers. Lots of fun for beginner-advanced.

Great Flow trail...truly enjoyed riding. The trail was marked well and I appreciated the one way trail system.

Wonderful trail, some very technical and rocky spots. Not a lot of climbing in a row.

This is a good trail for intermediate level riders. I was out of mountain biking for 10 years and I had to ride out here a few times before I got the hang of it again. My only complaint is that it was confusing in a few spots with some splits that had no markers. I never saw BLT 6, 12 or 13. There is a map at the TH and it's easy to make your way back to the start. There are enough hills to get a good workout and several fast descents for the adventurous.

Amazing trails with some technical areas

This is by far one of the most fun trails that I've experienced in the Nashville area. There is a little bit of everything, nice winding turns, floating buttery smooth trails, well-placed Rock Gardens, Selma fast descents, some moderate climbs, nearby lake with Shoreline rides with some consequences 15-30 ft ledges, intermittent trick areas, jumps, more.

The trails are obviously well ridden and well maintained with tender loving care. It could possibly be a little confusing for a first-timer but for the most part you are never going to get lost because there's plenty of signage and opportunities to end your ride on a paved road that leads back to the parking lot.

I would recommend this Trail for all riding levels except extreme movie

I have now been to this trail on three times and have to say that so far this is one of my favorite trails to ride. Has everything that you want and nothing that you dont... If you live close to here I would check this trail out for sure!!!

I've not riden this trail on some time but it wasn't a disappointment. The trail is well taken care of and well riden, technical with easy loops well marked to find. Also this trail has a lot of places to exit so you can ride as long as you like.

Great Trail! Fast, Fun and flowy. Smooth trail with minimal climbs and quick descents. Some great obstacles and some pretty cool jumps. Must stay off the trails after heavy rains due to the close proximity to the river. A sweet trail and enjoyable ride!

This trail was a great challenge for my riding level, which I would say is just getting into intermediate. I took it slow since this was my first time here. There were places I felt comfortable letting the speed build. Good climbs and descents with switchbacks and roots and rocks. I had trouble keeping on trail around (never saw BLT# 5 & 6 and some others). Maybe the signs and/or markers are down. This area has some intersecting trails that leads to confusion. I missed some parts and only got 7.5 instead of the 9 advertised. Other than that, this is a must ride if you're in Nashville and need a trail fix!

We rode these trails yesterday. The beginner (green trails) were great for riding with the kids. Some small drops, rocks, and roots. I rode the orange trail. It was well groomed and clear with obstacles appropriate for the intermediate rating. I did not get to ride any of the advanced skills sections and the west side of the trails were closed. The bottom line is these trails are a ton of fun and could be ridden over and over without getting bored. They appear to be really well taken care of and the maps and markers make navigation really easy. Well worth the short detour on our trip.

Very disappointing experience really. I would have given a higher rating if it was listed as mostly beginner trails with a few technical spots that would be at an intermediate level. But to claim any of those trails as black is a joke. And listing those trails as intermediate because they have a technical spot or two is also over-selling the product. The park is beautiful, the scenery is nice and the day was first class, but the experience wasted my trip from Nashville.
