You can access this loop from Boynton Pass TH, Longs Canyon Th, or Dawa TH. Th accompanying TOPO map begins and ends at the Dawa TH. Drive out Dry Creek Road to the "Tee" Jctn with Long Canyon Rd. Turn left on Boynton Pass for .5 miles. Park at the Dawa TH on your left.
one of my fav loops in Sedona. Head up Lond Canyon across deadmans/aerie/cockscomb & down Dawa. Ride the road back to the car parked at the TH at the beginning of Chuckwagon
Thank |I'm pretty certain that this trail was the inspiration for the thunder mountain railroad ride at Disneyland. Fun trail, but I think the directions are missing something, like a left turn at cockscomb. There are maps at all trailheads, just plan a loop when you get there and avoid the confusion I experienced when I followed the directions given. Ride on.
Thank |A great ride to bring your other half on, good confidence booster. Beautiful views, awesome trail. Fun for everyone.
Thank |It's easy to get in over your head if you are learning to mountain bike and are riding Sedona. This is a relatively easy, relaxing but scenic loop the whole family.
