Mountain Biking Lookout Mountain
#28 of 44 mountain bike trails in South Dakota
The main trail is steep, tight, and technical. A loop goes around the summit at the top. None of the trails are marked. You can get off and climb up to the top, and check out the view then ride right back into town for a bite to eat!

From exit 12, proceed down Jackson street to the first cross street. Take a right on 10th street. Take a right on Nevada street.
Park and proceed to ride through the tunnel underneath I-90.
It's a little bit more for advanced riders. As for travelers like me, could get easily lost as not every corner has markers. It'd be nice if they can place where you are at. The trails are varies from smooth to some rocky. Definitely will try again later and might upgrade my rate. :-)
Thank |Was mostly cow trails but beautiful view from the top.
Thank |Thanks to the farmer that donated his land.
Make sure you enter from Navada st. Under the tunnel you'll come out at the base of the trail.
Jackson st. Is chained up by state or road service. But we jumped it. Mostly a workout not really down hill.
