Mountain Biking Lorna Pass Trail
#352 of 1,379 mountain bike trails in British Columbia
This is a true backcountry singletrack that runs point to point. If you fly into Lorna Lake, then this is the first trail of a great adventure. From the west terminus on the NW shore of Lorna Lake, you travel NE for a little under a half mile to Big Creek and cross the creek. Then at about 2/3 of a mile in from the trailhead you hit a true hike-a-bike climb, ascending east a little over 1000 feet for one mile to the top of Lorna Pass. From the top, descend 1460 feet, heading SE for about two and quarter miles, until you reach the junction with Upper Tyaughton Creek Trail. Your Chilcotin adventure has officially started. Trailforks has a quite complete map of the trails in the park.
