A scenic view of rolling hills and mountains, featuring a winding road in the foreground. The landscape is dotted with sparse vegetation, including cacti and bushes, under a partly cloudy sky. The varying shades of green and brown highlight the natural terrain, creating an inviting and tranquil atmosphere. Los Pinchos mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking Los Pinchos

#5 of 37 mountain bike trails in Puerto Rico

mostly dry with good climbs and descents. good for any Intermediate rider. Maybe
a little complicated for a beginner. Bring a lot of water, cause it is mostly hot and
dry during the entire year. There are a lot of cactuses and rocks, also bring extra
tubes.

Great ride through the Puerto Rican desert. Well marked. Rode clockwise, First 3.5 miles more intermediate last 3.5 miles fast beginner single track. Ground is dry and rocky with a couple loose spots. Be careful of thorns. Long sleeves might be good for rubbing up against brush. Get a pincho afterwards.

This is a very challenging trail for a beginner rider or family ride. It is moist, dry and very humid so if you feel like taking the challenge, come prepared with plenty of water, spare tubes/tools and sun block lotion. Several hills with loose stones and dirt, it is not for regular tubed tires since it is a very dry area and you will blow a tire in a matter of minutes. tubeless tires are highly recommended. I mean, its all fun and adrenaline for those who love the adventure!!! but you got to be very careful. I loved it but I blew the two tires up quick!!! Come and have fun!!

Nice trail with some climbing, no steep grades. Double track and single track present, beware of the cow poop as you will get it all over you. Fun trail beginner-intermediate, no obstacles or jumps.
