  Add a review
#402 of 710 mountain bike trails in Utah
#21,768 in the world

Lower Indian Creek Trail slowly descends along the bank of Indian Creek as it moves from the high mountains into the desert. The views are great and so is the singletrack!

Getting there
From Downtown Monticello, head west on 200 Drive, soon turning left onto Abajo Drive. When the road turns into North Creek Road, continue on it. Once you're deep in the Abajos past Buckboard Campground, North Creek Road turns off the main road to the left. Stay on North Creek Road. Then, if your car can handle it, turn right onto Shay Ridge Road at Spring Lake. The trail will appear on the right. If you don't have a good car, park at Spring Lake.
