Beautiful trail system not far from interstate 75. TVA is the land owner and they have done a superb job with these. Plenty of parking with a nice pit toilet. Trails are easy to follow and as fast as you want to go. I can see why it rates so high. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping in. You won’t regret it

    Reviewing Mill Creek Trail:

Super nice trail. I rode it off Loyston Point Trail counterclockwise. Good flow with a section or two of slightly technical rock climbs. Highly recommend trail. Thanks TVA hope you allow more biking on your lands

When other trails in the Knoxville area are too wet to ride, Loyston Point trails are good to go. Beginner friendly, but fun for everyone.

Loyston Loop is a nice trail for kids and beginners to gain experience. For veteran riders it is put together well and has a nice flow to it. It is wider than single track, which makes it easy to pass on and gives beginners a wide track to ride on.

Mill Creek Loop is not listed as a trail, but connects to Loyston... Good googly goo. This is a fast trail, with well groomed berms, table tops, rollers and jumps. Long hill climbs that aren't technical followed by bombing downhills.

Rider questions

Q: I've been told to ride this loop counter clockwise. Is this accurate?
A: Yes, I prefer Loyston Loop counterclockwise and Mill Creek Loop clockwise.
