Mountain Biking Machesan
#1 of 18 mountain bike trails in South Korea
MacheSan trail is a single track trail on a ridge line. It starts with a tough, but not technical, climb. The
ridge line is fast and flowy, with a series of ups and downs as you progress up the mountain. Advanced
riders will enjoy this trail; beginners will learn all the aspects of trail riding and have fun too.

From Camp Casey main gate (Gate 1), heading West, cross Hwy 3, then the by-pass highway, and then
across the bridge. Once across bridge, turn right and follow the road (west side of river), for about 1/2
mile. You will come upon a large wooden sign, at a small three-way intersection, that depicts a trail
network - this is MacheSan entry point. Follow the small farm road up through a small drop-down gate
and up the road; it will turn into a rough jeep trail shortly after the gate. Continue to follow the trail up
and up past a small little camp (on right) until a Y in the trail. This is the trail head. Continue left on the
dirt path which turns into single track - the trail continues to the right and follows the mountain ridge line
for a few miles.
