Mountain Biking Machynlleth (Dyfi)
#6 of 22 mountain bike trails in Wales
A short drive south of Dolgelleu is The town of Machynlleth. The trail here boasts one of the longest downhill singletrack runs in all of Wales. Its hard to find and has no facilities at all but the faithful will be rewarded with an awesome ride. There is aven some North Shore if you look hard enough!
We usually link this trail with a weekend session in Coed - y - Brenin.
For a good place to stay check out http://www.bikers-retreat.com/ and tell them the black dogs from Cornwall sent you...

This is not a full review. Reason is i only managed have of this due to getting caught in a down pour and slipping of the edge and buckling my wheel at 4 miles in, so had to walk to way back. But the part i did manage was technical and cant wait to get back to this place and try an finish it in the summer.
