Mountain Biking Majura Pines Ride
#3 of 5 mountain bike trails in Australian Capital Territory
Lots of tight rocky single track with some loose sections, good short DH runs, sweet jumps and heaps of gullies. Suits all levels of riders but take care to ride to your abilities.
This is a popular area so watch out for speeding cyclists. The XC trails at the bottom are dual direction so keep an eye out for cyclists coming the other way.
If you see trail maintenance happening by the MPTA please stop by to help out even if its for 10min as any help is welcome(If you stay to the end you may get some free beer).

Either drive to Majura Lane and park opposite the Police Driver Training School or enter from Mackenzie st and ride up the fire road to the gate near the water tank taking the fire trail called blue metal road.
Best Local Trails in the Inner North. Easily Accessible and always being worked on by the amazing Majura Pines Trial Alliance. great downhill and lots of techy trails. lots of XC trails make it easy and fun to make your way around. Also a pump track with multiple lines
Thank |Track back in action. Some good single track, worth trying out if in the area.
Thank |This trail no longer exists due to a new freeway
Thank |good fun was enjoyed by all we were a skeptical at first as we saw at least 20 people in bullet proof vests and helmets.we found some nice jumps and a lil downhill section
Thank |This is one of the best single tracks to ride in the world: challenging rocky climbs, swooping luge decents and steep gullys to keep you on your toes. All in the quiet of tall pines. For more info, vistit this easy to use, simple site: http://ridecanberra.com.au/trail-info/majura-pines/ and no I'm not a member of theirs, I just love my track and want others to know more about it.
