Mountain Biking Mansfield Ditch Trail
#472 of 1,383 mountain bike trails in Colorado
Descend the singletrack down a grassy valley, past the abandoned Spring Cow Camp on your left. Continue descending until you come to a small creek. Cross the creek and look for a singletrack on your left signed Mansfield Ditch. Climb a short steep hill and begin the long traversing Mansfield Ditch trail. The trail traversing at a gentle contouring grade above steep canyons to your left. Expansive views are frequent along this stretch of trail. At times this trail can be overgrown and sections can be hard to follow. If in doubt just stay with it and the tread will soon reappear. After many miles of excellent singletrack arrive at a flat spot where Mansfield Ditch trail No. 2291 goes right and begins a fast, at times technical downhill. The last mile or so of this descent is arguably the best on the west slope. Soon you will arrive back at Buford Road No. 245. Take right and ride the pavement for 0.25 miles back to the cattle guard and your vehicle.
