Mountain bike leaning against a dirt path surrounded by vegetation, with sunlight shining through the trees in the background. The path appears rugged and unpaved, suggesting a trail suitable for biking. Marshall Canyon Park mountain bike trail.

Getting there
There is a parking lot at the top of Mills in Claremont. Park there and ride up further. You will see many people walking on a truck route. Follow that. At the first fork take a left and keep going up. Take a right at the second fork. continue going until you come to a gazeebo. that is the beginning of the trail. start heading down and you'll go through a few fences and when you reach the end you can eaither follow the rode back or park a vehicle at the elementary school in levern.

Had a blast for my first time mountain biking. Went with my brother in-law that had a lot more experience riding trails. Nice day, wasn't hot but did get a little warm. Loved the scenery and that there was a lot of shade. Did a 7.7 mile loop. I did have to walk some of the more intense climbs at the end my legs where jello. Lots of ruts from water run off and a few really muddy spots. Overall good biking and I had a blast.

Nice trail, went up during the week so we had the place almost to our selves. I agree that it is a green trail until you get above the out door horse arena, then I think its more of a blue trail, due to the climb to the top of the hills. overall had a great time.

Rode 16 miles here, starting out with climbs to the top then primarily single track down. There is a wide variety of trail and landscape here and I really liked some of the high lines, jumps, etc. that were off the side of the single track in the canyon.

I would do this again, but more likely to find something a little more advanced.

Rode the trail on a cool weekday with the threat of rain and there weren't too many other people out here.

Really fun singletrack, but some steep fireroad, as well. Probably some of the best singletrack in SoCal.

Very crowded with horseback riders, hikers, and bikers on the weekends. A lot of the bikers that were descending had little courtesy to slow down given the amount of traffic and blindspots. Beginning of the trail felt like a more scenic alternative to the 405 on a weekday afternoon.

I started from the pin point in the directions. Not sure if it was a good or bad thing. But for first timers, it could be confusing on where to go. Next go around I will start at the park as someone suggested. From the pin point, the climb isn't too bad until you get towards the top. That's when things get pretty steep. I didn't want to chance going around and catching the boring side of the decent, so I turned around towards the top, to enjoy the decent I climbed. There are a lot of trail options, and I'm not sure where they will take you, so be careful. A lot of stream crossing, and jumps keep it exciting. Can't wait to do it again.

Good if you just want to get out and get some exercise. Relatively boring. Flat fire road with loose sand on top in corners. Crowded on weekends.

Flowy fireroad/singltrack to keep you entertained. Of course, on the weekends everyone wants to play so go early or go during the week.

A difficult trail head to find... Exit the 210 at Fruit and then take a right on Esperanza. Continue until you see a little park up on the left, that's the best place to park and there are public restrooms. Lowell Brandt Park. Take a right downhill out of the park the left at stop sign keep looking to your right and you'll find the trailhead, go left through the tunnel then stay right. It's beautiful with lots of small water features, decent climbs that will make your heart pump. Watch for others zooming downhill at Mach speeds! Beautiful trail, glad we found it!

Awesome trail with a long descent weaving in an out of the stream. Plenty of trail options from the top so you'll never get bored. Trail is shared with horses and hikers. Park at the bottom on via de mansion.

This trail is great for beginners and riders that love nature. It's mostly double and single track with some light fire road riding near the top. Its a fast decent but the trail can be terrible after rains. Lots of stream crossings so bring extra socks.

Easy trail if you start from La Verne side. Long and slow (easy) incline. Lots of streams and woodsy areas, finished with some fun fire roads.
