A hiker standing on a forest path, with a unique tree bending at an angle above him. The tree trunk is covered in moss, surrounded by tall trees and lush greenery typical of a forest setting. Sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a serene atmosphere. Mary Moore Searight Metro Park mountain bike trail.

This is a nice easy trail. A number of routes are semi-paved but still in-between greenery and trees on both sides. Some fun sections as well. I clocked 8 miles on the trail with some repetitions.

Mary Moore Searight is the most under appreciated mountain biking area in central Texas. One of the main attractions is how beautiful parts of it is. The trails along Slaughter Creek look like a set from "Jurassic Park."

You have to seek out the trails. The more challenging and fun things are east of South 1st bridges. There is at least 10 miles of trail in the park. The downside is that it is a spider web network, so it's difficult to ride all of it without repeating trail. A small price to pay!

There are bathrooms and drinking fountains in the parking lot.

Ride this trail for the first time today. 12/24/18 Loved the loose rock climbs and flow of the system. Nice park at trail head with bathrooms and enough traffic to make you feel your vehicle is safe. New to the area and the hill country trails. Glad this trail is only a shot drive from my house. I think I will frequent it a lot.

Great hidden trail in south Austin. Getting familiar with the area trailheads is a little tricky. Mary Moore searight has some nice singletrack and technical terrain in some areas. Great for a quick ride!

trails are not well developed or maintained. lots of dead ends that you have to haul your bike out of.

    good potential
