Mascoutin Valley State Trail is a rail trail going fro Berlin to Ripon in one segment and from Rosendale to Fond du Lac in another. It winds its way through farmland, over creeks, and through pasture (a great family adventure if you ask me!). The best way to do it is probably to shuttle because most entry points for the trail lack a place to park and that way you can knock both segments out at once. Enjoy!
