A short loop trail that has some minor technical aspects. It is fairly flat with a decent number of trees to weave through and is suited for doing multiple laps.
Take Cherry Lane from Northwestern Avenue past the golf complex and the trail is in the woods on the left. There is no parking, but there is gravel on the side of the road so you can pull off, park and ride.
This is a great place for beginners. or if you live close to do a 3 park run in one day in west Lafayette including Amphitheater Park, Murdock Park trails.
This is for the INSIDE LOOP ONLY (I haven't tried the outside)
This was my first time trying trail riding and this wasnt so great. The trail was pretty much destroyed by use while wet in some places. There were downed trees (ill post a picture of one massive roadblock) and larger obstacles than my bike could roll over. If the trail was cleaned up and the little log ramps leading over the bigger logs were smoother, this trail would be a pretty nice trail to ride. For more experienced riders, this trail is probably a nice casual ride and can be done as a quick 30 minute trail. It has the potential to loop, so you could go even longer if you wanted to.
Good place to practice some technical skills and switchbacks, but don't expect to work on your climbs. It is nestled in a small area and is pretty much flat. Good place for beginners looking to practice for more challenging trails.

I may revise this review once its cleaned up.
