From Helena, go south on I-15 4 miles to the Montana City exit and go east on CR518 and take a quick right at the sign for McClellan Creek. Go south 4 miles and fork left on FR294. Go 2 miles and take the right fork for Jackson Creek. Go another 1.5 miles to the East Fork Trailhead.
