A rugged desert landscape under a clear blue sky, featuring a wooden bench and an informational sign about Desert Bighorn Sheep, with mountains in the background. The area is rocky and sparsely vegetated, typical of arid environments. McCullough Loop mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking McCullough Loop

#46 of 119 mountain bike trails in Nevada

A lot of climbing in this route - it's used a lot by walkers rather than a dedicated cycle path. The East side is a nice obvious path, the west side is very much open terrain.

The McCullough Hills trail is the main artery which runs through the Sloan canyon, it's great for cardio and can access you to a decent amount of other areas of varying technical challenges. Wildlife sightings have included Coyotes, Big horn sheep and various birds of prey.

Flat open space bordered by residential in the distance. . Single track most areas.
Something nice if you live nearby.
I visited from another country, so little disappointed on the adventure prospective.
