Mountain Biking Mead's Rim
#280 of 710 mountain bike trails in Utah
Most riders just ride the northern portion of Mead's to complete various loops on the mesa. If taken all the way south, there is a treacherous plummet to town and the climb back up, even on the road, is no fun. Mead's is best as a connector to Floatin Rocks or Smo Joe's

Mead's Rim connects the top of Luke's with town.
The northern portion of Mead's is a blast with some great rock step ups to practice your wheelies on. Don't follow it all the way south unless you want to climb back up the fire road to the parking lot.
