Mountain Biking Midland Hills Trails
#38 of 1,381 mountain bike trails in Colorado
The Midland Hills Trails are a few relatively new singletrack trails located near the Collegiate Peaks overlook. They run up to the old railroad grade/Midland Trail, but based on the kiosks I checked out, these few trails seem to be labeled as their own entity.
Setup as a loop with a spur (or a lariat, depending on where you start), these trails all pretty mellow for the most part, but they do have plenty of rocks and swoopy turns to keep things interesting!
Depending on how you access the trails, a great route is to descend Django, head back up towards fistful of Dollars, drop down and do an out-and-back to the KOA on the A Few Dollars More trail, and then finish climbing back to the top on Fistful of Dollars.
