Over 20 miles of challenging single track Mountain bike trails already ranked one of Vermont's Five Best Mountain bik Networks. There is a network of tight technical single track combined with some double track. There are several flavors of difficulty, easy, moderate and difficult. I highly suggest the difficult section if you want to challenge your MTB skills. The trails are in and around an old granite quory that provide great views and some nerve racking drop-offs. I rode this trail the end of**ust for several hours but you could easily make a day of it.

We rode here while on vacation from the midwest and really did not enjoy the trails. These were the only ones of 8 trails we did not like. They are not laid out in a way that makes them easy to navigate, so we were constantly checking trailforks (which can be true of many trails). We quickly came to realize that a green trail meant a double-wide boring ski trail, but that black meant trials riding: go 2 feet, turn your wheel, hop your bike, move 2 feet, etc. As a result, we tried to stick to blues, but even those just lacked enjoyment. We were riding in 2 of the 3 major areas, and did not go to the "downhill" oriented set of trails, so perhaps the great reviews are more focused on those trails and that type of riding? The only trail I liked and made a point to do twice was Rauli's Run. Otherwise, I was disappointed we wasted a day of riding here. I really don't understand all the great reviews on this place, especially given the closeness to stellar trails: Perry Hill & Green Mountain trails.
Thank |Awesome trail system. Lots of fun features, technical, some bermed flow, and losts of roots. There are three separate trail systems that make up Millstone and all are unique. Fantastic views from the tops of the grout piles. A unique place in Vermont to ride. Make sure you get here at some point, it's well worth it!
Thank |Amazing trails! Rode red trails behind shop in town! Highly recommend.
Thank |Next to Kingdom Trails, this is by far the best place to ride in NVT. Tons of trails, lots of interesting views, well laid out trails. I strongly suggest that your first ride follows the ;oop highlighted on the map.
