Mountain Biking Mill's Creek
#209 of 300 mountain bike trails in Virginia
Once on the trail there will be a very steep and very fun switchback section. Then once you get closer to the valley floor it continues downhill tracking mill creek. There are a couple of shallow creek crossings that aren't a big deal. The end of the trail lets out at the coal road which will take you to a small gas station.

Start at Forest Road 162 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is a gravel road leading up to Bald Mountain at the "Bald Mountain Overlook" pulloff on the BRP. Ride up FR 162 until it forks then keep left at the sign. Then ride down about .3 miles to the trailhead. You will see it in the second clearing on the right side of the trail. Facing east, the trail will be at the far side of the clearing/campsite on the left.
